The completely redesigned ElsterOnline portal has been available to citizens, companies and associations since 25 July 2017. The services of the portal for the submission of tax returns and much more are now directly available under "My ELSTER" in integrated[1]. The new design is much clearer and the operation much more intuitive.

"Our online tax office is becoming more modern, simpler and more convenient," announced the Bavarian Finance Minister Dr. Markus Söder on the occasion of the activation.[2]. "More than 4.6 million citizens already use our online tax office - and the trend is rising," says Söder.

Since the first portal version in 2005, mgm has supported the Bavarian State Tax Office in the development and provision of the ElsterOnline portal. In the course of a complete revision of the portal to modernise and simplify the user guidance and usability, the complete technical platform was also updated.

With its clear, reduced design, the new generation of the online tax office has become even more convenient.

In the course of this relaunch of, the sister portal of the Federal Central Tax Office "BOP" (BZStOnline) is now also available since 25.07.2017 in a new design and also with the support of mobile devices. ready for use.
